Badging and Direction inside the Center

Thanks for registering for the 2012 Workshop on Titan Through Time. The meeting will be held inside NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) in the Exploration Sciences Building 34, room W150.

Most attendees other than those already in possession of a NASA "Smart" Badge will need to collect a 3-day visitor badge. Separate instructions follow for US nationals/residents and non-US persons. Don't forget to bring your photo ID!

US citizens and permanent residents:

Tuesday April 3rd: Aim to arrive at NASA at 8 am. US citizens and LPRs should collect their badge at the GSFC visitor center, located just off ICESat Road (see map), beginning at 8 am. Parking is available at the visitor center.

Please bring photo identification or you will not be issued a badge. Maps of the NASA site will be handed out showing the location of the conference Blg 34. After you have your badge you can drive or walk (~5 mins) through the south entrance gate on ICESat Road to Blg 34 located just inside.

The meeting registration will also being at 8 am in building 34 outside room W150. Please allow extra time on the first day to collect your badge, find the meeting location inside NASA, complete registration, acquire coffee (as needed) and to be seated in time for the commencement at 9 am.

Your badge is valid for three days: on subsequent days you may proceed straight to any GSFC entrance gate and present your badge. At the close of DAY 3 (April 5th) please drop your badge in the dropbox at any guardhouse (at each gate) as you exit.

Foreign Nationals

Foreign nationals (non-green card) should follow the same procedure as US nationals/LPR above, except that badges will be issued at the GSFC Security Building (8) at the main entrance further west on Greenbelt Road (Rte 193 - see map) at 8 am.

Passports and visa/visa waiver must be shown to collect your badge. Once you have your badge proceed inside the main gate and follow the map to Blg 34 (10 min walk or short drive).
