A set of constants defining the fields used in the observation parameter table in the HiRISE database. Each observation has its own record in this table. Individual CCD parameters are stored in the CCD parameters table.

"Forward" is defined as increasing time from the time of the center of the observation. "Back" is decreasing time from the time of the center of the observation. "Right" is in the direction of positive roll. "Left" is in the direction of negative roll.

The footprint vertices are always based on the observation's delay time, whether manual or not. Thus, the center of the observation is defined by the OFFSET_CENTER_PLANETOGRAPHIC_LATITUDE and OFFSET_CENTER_LONGITUDE.

The ITL is an example of an absolute-timed sequence. Most of the HiRISE special operations, such as the observation of the Phoenix lander descending, are also absolute timed. A load-and-go sequence, such as that used for the HiRISE annealing observations, is relative timed.
