The file here, ESP_061686_1725_RED3_1.bitfit.IMG has been passed through
my .IMG bit cleaning routine.  The reverse-clock area has had zeros
and bitflips identified, and then those pixels interpolated to yield
reasonable data values.  The mask area, the ramp, buffer, and dark
areas have had their bitflip pixels identified (set to 8-bit 255),
but not corrected.  The image area has been untouched.
