Thunderstorm Vista. Imagine exploring an alien world, driving your rover up a large hill and getting a glimpse of a large thunderstorm off in the distance as your rover reaches the crest of the hill. Layed out in the valley in front of you is a small crater, distant mountains and a spectacular thunderstorm backdropped by a ringed planet which the moon you are exploring is orbiting. It is all you can do to pile out of the rover fast enough and get your camera out and ready to photograph the vista. This acrylic painting was finished in December 1995.
