This is a painting of a hypothetical near polar manned lunar base.
Typical activities are depicted including a spacesuited astronaut in
the foreground; the structures of the base; landing pads for lunar
landing craft; pathways between the landing pad and the main base; a
lunar rover and a communications antenna.
The painting was made on August 11, 1996, and is acrylic on a
16 by 20 inch matte board.
