The Coords Menu

The Frame menu controls World Coordinate System display in SAOtng.

The following options are available via the File menu:

Display "Natural Coords" (e.g. hms for RA): If sufficient WCS information is present, display the RA/Dec in HMS DMS format.
Display Degrees: If sufficient WCS information is present, display the RA/Dec in degrees.
Display Pixels: Display pixels values.
No Display: Do not display WCS information on the image frame.
Set WCS System for this image: If enough WCS information is available, you can set the WCS system for B1950, J2000, Galactic, or Ecliptic coords. This feature currently is available on an image by image basis. We have not figured out how to make it global (yet).
Set WCS Color: Set the color of the WCS display background. This can be useful when the color of the image makes the WCS display hard to read.
