Directions to Rancho Quieto Bed & Breakfast
Please note that it takes about 30-40 minutes to drive to Rancho Quieto from the University area.
Directions from the University of Arizona
Start out going West on E SPEEDWAY BLVD. Pass underneath I-10.
Eventually, SPEEDWAY turns into W GATES PASS RD. Continue straight on W GATES PASS RD. (This road is 2-lane and becomes winding near Gates Pass. There's a nice overlook to watch a sunset at the top of Gates Pass.)
GATES PASS RD ends in a T-intersection. At this intersection, turn RIGHT onto N KINNEY RD (towards Desert Museum and Saguaro National Park).
After 3.84 miles, the road forks; the entrance to Saguaro National Park is to the right, Mile Wide Rd goes to the left. Take Mile Wide Rd to the left.
After approximately 1.5-2 miles, you will reach the stop sign intersection with Sandario Rd. Turn RIGHT (north) on SANDARIO RD.
Drive approximately 0.8 miles north on Sandario Rd to W Ft Lowell Rd (on the left; look carefully for street signs.) Follow W Ft Lowell until you see signs for Rancho Quieto (on the left.)
Please note that W Ft Lowell is a dirt road with some gullying, so that passenger cars will need to be driven slowly. Rancho Quieto has somewhat limited parking, but there will be sufficient parking space if everyone parks carefully (Carpooling, if convenient, would be helpful). There is also a map available.
