Baby Updates Well, at 4 months Ry can: Roll over back to front, and mostly not front to back! Make lots of vowel noises AND boat motor sounds. ALMOST sleep through the night - well, from 11:00 PM to 4:00 AM anyway.. Eat lots and lots, always as much as mom can provide. Ry also likes rides in his stroller and his butterfly toy with the crinkly wings. He gives really big smiles in the morning and gets cranky in the evening, just like daddy. On Monday and Wednesday mornings he gets to go to work with dad. He's a big hit at the office! Ry's favorite music includes Harry Bellafonte and the Harmonicats - especially when mommy dances to it..

9 Month Updates

At 9 months, Ry is standing up quite well, still doesn't sleep through the night, and is fascinated with things that move and hinge. His explorations include discovering the workings of doors and pushing (and droobling on) his collection of Chevron cars (all except Freddy 4-Wheeler, which is at work with Daddy. Daddy doesn't drooble on his).

Ry also had his very first cold and ear infection, which he contracted at the hospital in Albuquerque - where he and mom ended up after his Nana and Grampa Russ were killed by a drunk driver. He's a real trooper, and is doing great..
