Index to PIRL Archived Datasets

The following datasets are only available to PIRL internal machines and affiliated clients.
All links to the archived datasets on this page are direct to the filesystem which is why if you aren't on a PIRL machine, these links will not work.
The archive is NOT on the web (at least not yet).

Notes

1. There is a distinction about how ISO-9660 CD's and Rock Ridge extension CD volume names are displayed. All you need to remember is that some volume names will appear in caps.

2. Complete table of mounted volumes (updated regularly)
3. Imaging and project volumes appear in subdirectories in /archive as follows (note that this may not be entirely up to date depending on how busy things are..):
   • clementine: Clementine UVVIS basemap dataset ( 15 CDs, plus some EDRs).
   • clementine_color: Clementine color data.
     • Index to Clementine Data

   • galileo: Galileo REDR's ( 15 CD's so far )

   • grsfe: Geologic Remote Sensing Field Experiment CDs.

   • gsc: Hubble guide star catalog ( 2 CD's )

   • viking: Viking Orbiter and lander CD's, plus MDIMS ( ~ 60 CD's ).
     • Index to Viking Maps

   • magellan: Magellan FMAPs - at least all the ones needed for MapMaker, anyway..

   • pathfinder: Pathfinder EDRs
     • Index to the Pathfinder Data
     • The Mars Pathfinder site at the PDS

   • mgs and mgs_misc: Mars Global Surveyor data
     • Index to MGS Data
     • There's more stuff that's not listed..

   • misc: Everything else, including user's data archives and other miscellaneous stuff.

   • voyager: Voyager REDR and USGS basemap CDROM's (28 + 2 CD's)

     Voyager Base Mosaics

     • vg_bm01 Galilean Satellites at 4.0 km/pixel
     • vg_bm02 Ganymede at 4.0 km/pixel

   • volcanology: NASA Volcanology CD's (including Kilauea, Mauna Loa, and Kamchatka).

   • voyager_uvs: Voyager UVS compiled data

   • usno-a2.0: The USNO A2.0 star catalog (11 CD's).
