This band near Moytura Regio, seen in 182 m/pixel regional Galileo images (E12 orbit) does not appear to be elevated. The band is striated in subparallel fashion, with no apparent central groove or bilateral symmetry. Similarities and offsets between older lineaments on opposite sides suggest that displacement has occurred. Arrows link the offset older features and indicate the net relative motion vector.

Here, the band near Moytura Regio has been reconstructed on the vectors shown (Fig. 11a). Like the other bands we have examined, it is a dilational gap in the lithosphere. It has also undergone left-lateral shear. Boundaries of the western portion of the band do not reconstruct conformably despite realignments of the displaced lineaments.
